Outdoor Stitching

Finally, I was able to do some stitching in the backyard, by the pond.  It was awesome, but bloody hot!  I lasted about a half hour.  Suddenly I got worried that stitching in the sunlight would bleach the fabric.  I couldn't get the idea out of my head so I had to stop.  That, and my son woke up from his nap.  Still, it was heaven and I hope to do more of it this summer though I might have to wait until later in the afternoon/early evening.

Here's a progress photo! And, it was taken outdoors!  Note the natural lighting.

  1. Mimi,

How are you getting so much done so quickly? I still haven't even completed the first page on my HAED. I do have a lot of other projects I am working on, so that might be the reason, but I see people flying through pages on the HAED's and I don't understand how so many stitches can get done so fast!

    Congrats - it looks gorgeous!

    Hugs,

  2. Hi Chelle, thank you!

Um .. I have no life? haha! Actually, I do most of my stitching in the evening after the kids have gone to bed and we've had dinner. I am only working on the Hermit right now. I am a bit obsessed with it, I will admit that. My day job can be quite challenging so I find that I need to spend a few hours stitching at night so I can re-group.
